This room works well with friends or family staying in Room 2, as bathroom for this room is shared.
Bathroom is a short stroll from room.
Robes are provided.
Continental breakfast and coffee & tea making facilities will be provided here for families or friends staying in Room 2.
Experience the old world charm of the historic schist stone buildings at The Farm Bed & Breakfast in Middlemarch, Central Otago.
Choose to stay in the stone cottage or the farm house. In all, three rooms available: two queen rooms and a twin room, either with en-suite, shared bathroom or private bathroom. Continental breakfast including delicious home-made muesli!
Facilities include:
- Outdoor seating and a barbecue
- A large grass area to kick a ball
- We can arrange pre-dinner drinks and/or a tasty in house dinner a couple of days notice needed for this.
- Transport can be arranged to eat out at our local pub if needed.
The Farm Bed and Breakfast is located 3 km from Middlemarch township close to SH 87 and the end of the Otago Central Rail Trail. Transport from the township is available.
Activities we recommend include a walk to Sutton Salt Lake through beautiful schist rock landscape (40 minutes round trip), a visit to the Middlemarch Museum and a swim in the local pool. Transport can also be arranged, if required.
Activities further afield by car include curling in Naseby, dining at nearby Danseys Pass Hotel and visiting the historic Central Otago townships of Ophir and St Bathans.
