The cottage is surrounded by a mature garden that features roses.

Frontage
A colourful garden greets you at the gate as you arrive.

Description

Railway Retreat

Railway Retreat sits behind Railway Cottage on a spacious plot of land which is located at 5 Thomas Street, Ranfurly.

This modern facility has three double rooms, each with ensuite.
One room has a bathroom that can cater to guests who have a disability.

The king sized double beds can be split into two king single beds. This allows for three couples through to six single guests (twin share) to be accommodated.

A generous deck runs long the frontage of the building giving respite from ths sun and providing a comfortable space to relax and socialise after the days ride.

 

Railway Cottage 

The cottage was built in 1906 and lovingly restored without losing its character. The cottage is an easy walk to Ranfurly's art deco landmarks, shops and hotel. It is only 100m from the Otago Central Rail Trail. There is plenty of off-street parking available if required.
